KC Heartland Lax Club was established in 2015 due to the increasing popularity of lacrosse and the need for a quality, first class organization in the Kansas City area.
Since established, Heartland Lacrosse has grown to become the largest provider of local programming here in Kansas City. Impacting lacrosse growth through local instruction is what Heartland strives to accomplish each and every season.
Heartland's foundation, The Juniors, is offered for 3 - 13 years boys/girls. Our Juniors (sticks only) funnel growth into our full equipment Academies & Leagues which in return grow our surrounding youth and high school programs in Kansas City. Heartland's mission each season is to increase the lacrosse population so that our surrounding youth and high school clubs can continue to grow while increasing the competitive edge in our area.

Heartland's priority is player development. Our staff dedicates there time and energy focusing on developing new and experienced players so that they reach their next level in their lacrosse journey. All players develop differently, its Heartland's goal to give each player differentiated instruction so that we can cater to each players strengths and weaknesses to unlock full potential.
Our mission is to build a lacrosse community in Kansas City that instills commitment, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout life and sports.
We carryout our mission by providing numerous year round programs that are intended to build character and instill confidence.
Our programs include lessons, clinics, camps, and leagues for pre k - high school boys and girls.

At Heartland, our services focus on growing and developing the youth in our community. Our intention to is teach all players championship character through all of Heartland's programs.

BOOST Physical Therapy and Sports Performance
Dr. Horschig, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sport Performance at Boost Performance in Lee's Summit, with expertise in athletic injury prevention and rehabilitation.
POST-GRAD (University of Missouri)
Spending his graduate school years with the University of Missouri's Athletic Performance team, Dr. Horschig provided individualized focused care therapy to high-level Division 1 athletes while acting as a strength and conditioning coach for MU's Football and Softball teams. Dr. Horschig also spent his time Studying athletic performance principals such as weightlifting, sprinting technique, and progressions for high-level plyometrics and agilities, while also learning sport specific biomechanics from University of Missouri sport coaches and outside experts.
